Le week-end des 10 et 11 avril 2027, le club le LOST vous propose un WE de sprint d'orientation très varié dans la suberbe ville universitaire piétonne de Louvain-la-Neuve.  

 Cette compétition sera ouverte à tous et toutes :  orienteurs compétiteurs comme orienteurs amateurs ou participants tout à fait débutants.   

Quatre activités sont au programme : Samedi championnat FRSO de sprint puis course Indoor type "Amphi-O" et dimanche KO Sprint "All Inclusive" ou City race pour ceux et celles qui ne désirent pas participer au KO.  En marge de ces compétitions, un entrainement de sprint sera proposé le samedi matin.

Le principe montant-descendant dans le KO

Une fois passé les qualifications individuelles, tous les coureurs auront un départ en quart de finale, demi finale et finale.  A chaque tour, 6 coureurs partent en parallèle sur le même parcours à des temps de départ fixés.  

Vos adversaires de quarts de finales seront définis automatiquement en fonction de votre performance en qualification. Ensuite, en demi et en finale, vous courez contre des gens qui ont eu les mêmes résultats que vous.  Lors du Quart de finale, les 3 premiers de chaque groupe montent et les 3 derniers descendent. Lors de la Demi finale, les 2 premiers montent, les 2 suivants restent au même niveau et les 2 derniers descendent.

Exemple: 

• Vous finissez 1er de la Qualification. 

• Vous serez en Quart de finale avec les 4, 5, 7, 10 et 11eme des différentes qualifications. 

• Vous finissez 3eme, vous montez et allez en demi finale avec le 1er et 2eme de votre groupe, ainsi qu'avec les 1, 2 et 3eme d'un autre groupe.

• Vous finissez 4eme en demi-finale, vous restez au même niveau et allez en finale avec le 3eme de votre groupe ainsi qu'avec les 3 et 4eme de 2 autres groupes de personnes qui sont aussi montés en quart de finale.

Autres détails sur le KO

Les Non-classés sont derniers de leur groupe. Si plusieurs personnes d'un même groupe sont non-classés, les places seront distribuées aléatoirement. Aucune réclamation ne sera acceptée concernant cette règle.

Nous nous réservons le droit de modifier toutes les règles et horaires énnoncées ci-dessus avant et pendant la compétition en cas de circonstances exceptionnelles.

LOST organiseert op de laatste zondag van oktober (26 oktober) een Knock-Out Sprint wedstrijddag in Louvain-la-Neuve. Om zoveel mogelijk mensen plezier te laten beleven, hebben we een format bedacht waarbij de deelnemers (gemengd) na de kwalificatierondes deelnemen aan alle volgende wedstrijden (kwartfinale, halve finale en finale) in oplopende volgorde.  (informaties KO o-punch)

Naast deze wedstrijd organiseren we voor degenen die niet willen deelnemen aan de Knock-Out Sprint een dubbele sprint.  Groepen, gezinnen van elk niveau, zelfs beginners zijn welkom.  De eerste race vindt plaats op hetzelfde tijdstip als de KO kwalificaties en op hetzelfde parcours. De tweede race vindt plaats aan het begin van de middag tijdens de kwartfinales. Deze tweede race staat open voor KO deelnemers die niet door de kwalificaties zijn gekomen. (informaties op O-Punch)

De dag ervoor, op zaterdag 25 oktober, biedt de Thor Club een sprintkamp aan in andere wijken van Louvain-la-Neuve. Dit is een geweldige kans voor teams en clubs om een tweedaags sprintkamp te organiseren in de prachtige stad Louvain-la-Neuve. Het KO oplopend-neergaand principe

Na de individueel kwalificaties komen alle rijders aan de start in de kwartfinales, halve finales en finales.  

Je tegenstanders in de kwartfinale worden automatisch bepaald op basis van je kwalificatieprestaties. Vervolgens race je in de halve finales en de finale tegen mensen die dezelfde resultaten hebben behaald als jij.  In de kwartfinale gaat de top 3 van elke groep naar boven en de onderste 3 naar beneden. In de halve finale gaan de eerste 2 omhoog, de volgende 2 blijven op hetzelfde niveau en de laatste 2 gaan omlaag.

Voorbeeld: 

• Je eindigt als 1e in de kwalificatieronde. 

• Je zit in de kwartfinales met de 4e, 5e, 7e, 10e en 11e groep.

• Als je als 3e eindigt, ga je naar de halve finale met de 1e en 2e uit jouw groep en de 1e, 2e en 3e uit een andere groep.

• Als je als 4e eindigt, blijf je op hetzelfde niveau en ga je naar de finale met de 3e uit jouw groep en de 3e en 4e uit 2 andere groepen die ook de kwartfinales hebben bereikt.

Andere KO details

Niet-ingeklasseerden worden laatste in hun groep. Als meerdere mensen in dezelfde groep niet-ingedeeld zijn, worden de plaatsen willekeurig verdeeld. Klachten over deze regel worden niet geaccepteerd.

We behouden ons het recht voor om alle bovenstaande regels en tijdschema's voor en tijdens de wedstrijd te wijzigen in geval van uitzonderlijke omstandigheden.

LOST is organising a Knock-Out Sprint competition day in Louvain-la-Neuve on the last Sunday in October. To ensure that as many people as possible have fun, we've come up with a format where, once past the qualifying rounds, participants (mixed-gender) will take part in all the following races (quarter-final, semi-final and final) on an ascending-descending basis.   (Opunch KO event)

In addition to this competition, for those who do not wish to take part in the Knock-Out Sprint, we are organising a double sprint.  It is open to groups, families of any level, even beginners.  The first race will take place at the same time as the KO qualifiers, and on the same course. The second race will take place in the early afternoon during the quarter-finals. This second race is open to KO participants who have not passed the qualifiers.  Details and registration on O-Punch.

The KO ascending-descending principle

Once they have passed the qualifiers, all the runners will have a start in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals.    For each of these 3 last turns, each runner with start in a mass start of 6 runners with the same map.  

Your quarter-final opponents will be determined automatically on the basis of your qualifying performance. Then, in the semi-finals and finals, you race against people who have had the same results as you.  In the Quarter-Final, the top 3 in each group move up and the bottom 3 move down. In the Semi-Final, the first 2 go up, the next 2 stay at the same level and the last 2 go down.

Example: 

• You finish 1st in the Qualifying round. 

• You will be in the Quarter-Final with the 4th, 5th, 7th, 10th and 11th places. 

• You finish 3rd, you move up and go into the semi-final with the 1st and 2nd from your group, as well as the 1st, 2nd and 3rd from another group.

• If you finish 4th, you stay at the same level and go on to the final with the 3rd from your group as well as the 3rd and 4th from 2 other groups of people who have also reached the quarter-finals.

Other KO details

Non-classifieds are last in their group. If several people in the same group are unclassified, places will be distributed randomly. No complaints will be accepted concerning this rule.

We reserve the right to modify all the rules and timetables set out above before and during the competition in the event of exceptional circumstances.
